The Top 10 Idaho Daily Newspapers by Circulation
Idaho currently plays host to several weekly newspapers and a dozen daily newspapers, including the Idaho Statesman, which has been published continuously since 1864.

1. Idaho Statesman
Published in Boise by The McClatchy Co., the Statesman is Idaho’s largest newspaper and was founded in 1864 as the Idaho Tri-Weekly Statesman. It was originally published from a log cabin on the site of the current Boise City Hall.
2. Post Register
The Post Register is published in Idaho Falls and serves that area along with Jackson, Wyoming and West Yellowstone, Montana. It was founded in 1925.
3. Twin Falls Times-News
Published in Twin Falls by Lee Enterprises, the Times-News serves the Twin Falls area along with surrounding regions in south-central Idaho and Nevada.
4. Idaho Press Tribune
Published in Nampa, the Press Tribune is Idaho’s second-oldest newspaper, having been founded in 1883 as the Caldwell Tribune.
5. Lewiston Morning Tribune
Founded in 1892 and published in Lewiston, the Morning Tribune serves north central Idaho and southwestern Washington.
6. Idaho State Journal
Published in Pocatello, the State Journal was founded in 1890 as the Pocatello Tribune.
7. Coeur d’Alene Press
Also known as the “CDA Press”, it serves Couer d’Alene and surrounding areas including Kootenai and Bonner counties.
8. Bonner County Daily Bee
Founded in 1965 and published in Sandpoint, the Daily Bee serves Bonner County and north Idaho.
9. Blackfoot Morning News
Serves Blackfoot and Bingham County, and published Monday through Saturday morning.
10. Moscow-Pullman Daily News
Founded in 1911, the Daily News serves the Moscow, Idaho, and Pullman, Washington area.
