CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – July 9, 2020 – Fullintel has won a 2020 AMEC Silver Award for best crisis comms measurement and reporting, for its work assisting a major public company with monitoring and reporting on a high-profile crisis that garnered a high level of media and public interest.

Thanks to Fullintel’s round the clock crisis command center manned by experts, real-time crisis intelligence platform powered by AI, daily briefings and breaking news alerts, the client successfully alleviated significant negative fallout over the incident – keeping negative media and social media commentary at or below its initial goal of five per cent. The case study that won the award involved the company activating Fullintel’s 24/7/365 crisis media monitoring offering by calling Fullintel’s crisis hotline. From there a series of advisory alerts, management reports and collaboration assisted the client to successfully overcome the crisis.

“Crisis communications measurement and reporting has always been crucial, but with today’s business environment, combined with the increasing velocity of news and social media, it’s more important now than ever before,” said Fullintel President Andrew Koeck. “We’re thrilled to have won an AMEC Silver Award for our crisis communications work with a major public company. We’d also like to congratulate our fellow AMEC Award winners and nominees, who all submitted great work.”

The AMEC Awards, administered by the International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC), is a global awards program for communications measurement. The awards aim to recognize and celebrate exceptional work while showcasing the importance of research, measurement, insights, and analytics.

Although awards are typically handed out at the 2020 AMEC Global Summit and AMEC Awards Ceremony (originally scheduled for June 2 to 4 in Vienna, Austria), this year’s event for the first time ever took place virtually this past week.

AMEC has more than 160 members in 86 countries worldwide.
