Fullintel’s Angela Dwyer Recognized as one of this year’s Data and Media Measurement Game-Changer by PRNEWS

August 17, 2023 Andrew Koeck
2023 Data & Measurement Game Changer

Fullintel’s Head of Insights, Angela Dwyer, has been recently named a data and measurement game-changer in the class of 2023 PRNEWS People of the Year.

The award is the latest in a string of high-profile recognitions for Dwyer. Earlier this year she received a PRNEWS Top Women Award, along with being named a 2023 AMEC Rising Star and Fierce Pharma Advisory Board member. Her research paper co-authored with UConn Assistant Professor Tyler Page also won an IPRRC benchmarking award in March.

What initially drew her to media measurement and data – and what keeps her coming back – is a desire to “answer the hard questions that keep executives up at night,” she explained.

“The main pull to this work and to this role is answering the hard questions. How do I show the value of PR work? How do I influence behavior? Thinking more about those behavioral influences – that’s really interesting. And we can answer a lot of those questions through research and data.”

Awards will be handed out at the Platinum & People Awards Gala on October 18, 2023. It takes place at the Lighthouse, at the edge of the Hudson River within New York’s iconic Chelsea Piers. PRNEWS says the event will draw 300-plus communications professionals.

“Our People of the Year honorees reflect the range of expertise needed across the PR and communications industries,” said Erika Bradbury, Editorial Director of PRNEWS, in a news release. “We are excited to recognize such a diverse group of individuals making their marks on the industry. Whether they are seasoned professionals or just at the start of their careers, this year’s honorees demonstrate the impact that the communications industry has on all types of organizations.”

The awards, which honor innovative and inspiring professionals making a quantifiable impact on their organization and the communications industry at large, are made up of several categories, including:

  • Agency CEOs
  • Agency innovators
  • Brand reputation mavens
  • Chief communicators
  • Crisis managers
  • DEI champions
  • Digital PR disruptors
  • Media relations titans
  • Mentors
  • New entrepreneurs on the block
  • Nonprofit PR innovators
  • Ones to watch
  • Public affairs leaders
  • Educators

While many of this year’s honorees run their own small- and medium-sized PR shops, others hail from larger organizations such as RF Binder, State Farm, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Global Strategy Group, Seton Hall University, Boston University School of Communication, Aflac, and the U.S. Postal Service.
